The purpose of this study is the evaluation of the unbalances due to the connection of a traction substation of the Madrid-Barcelona high speed line at the 220 kV busbar of the Villaverde substation. Several connecion schemes will be considered. In addition, the connection of the traction substation of the Madrid-Sevilla high speed line at the 220 kV busbar of El Horrillo substation will be taken into account. The study will be undertaken using the SILVIA computer tool for the simulation of the electrification of high speed railway lines developed by IIT.
